Specific Terms and Conditions - La Boussole

This document sets out the terms and conditions governing your participation in a unique 10-day, 9-night escape to the island of Bali with La Boussole.

Please read all terms and conditions carefully before confirming your reservation.

Participant: The person registering for the trip, hereinafter referred to as the "Traveler."

The escape program the traveler is enrolled in will have specific terms and conditions (provided by the travel provider—Icligo—Bon Voyage By Cathy), which supplement the general terms and conditions presented herein.

By contracting La Boussole, the Traveler acknowledges and accepts all the General Conditions set forth herein, as well as the getaway program to which the Traveler is registered, which constitutes the specific conditions of participation in this unique experience.

By booking and paying for the trip, the Traveler agrees to comply with all the General Conditions set forth herein.

About Us

1 - We, the company La Boussole, based in France, registered with the Melun Commercial Court under number 933996613, R.C.S. Melun.

As a transparent intermediary, we are your contact for service and payment contracts.

Our website is available and accessible worldwide, translated into French, English, and Portuguese. It is quick and easy to use.

We operate using the La Boussole Bali website as an online intermediary platform, offering a getaway for women on the island of Bali, with local suppliers based in Bali specially selected to provide a unique and special experience, and through Bon Voyage By Cathy, based in Portugal, an independent travel consultant, Icligo RNAVT 3301, My Favorite Experience-Eventos Turísticos, LDA (Icligo).

This moment of escape includes flight, accommodation and various activities specially chosen to experience a unique moment - Examples: guided tours, cooking classes, purification ritual, yoga classes and other services.

What is our business?

La Boussole offers a unique escape experience for women on its website "laboussole-bali.fr," entirely designed and organized by women for women. As an intermediary, La Boussole takes full responsibility for this unique concept for women, who will simply have to enjoy their moment of escape and freedom.

The contract for the service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Contract") is entered into directly and exclusively between you and the Service Provider. When you purchase a package on the website laboussole-bali.fr, you are not purchasing it from us but directly from our various Service Providers. We enter into Service Contracts in the name and on behalf of the Service Providers. We act as a transparent intermediary for the Providers and are mandated and authorized by the Providers to directly enter into transactions between the Providers and travelers like you. We are also mandated and authorized by the Providers to collect payments from travelers on behalf of the Providers. We do not offer any activities on our own behalf. Therefore, we are not a party to any Service Agreement that you may enter into. We do not act as an organizer, lessor, reseller, or any other contracting party in the Service Agreement that you may enter into. We receive a commission from the Provider for brokering the Service Agreement.

Registration

Registration for this getaway will only be validated after 1 - Full payment or a 60% deposit (non-refundable) of the total amount of the service and 2 - Proper signature of the documents sent to the client (General Conditions and Registration Form) at the time of registration.

The client agrees to pay the total cost of the trip, including any additional services requested, up to 40 days before the scheduled trip. Otherwise, after this date, their place will be put on sale and they will forfeit the 60% deposit paid.

If registration takes place after 40 days before the trip, the full price must be paid at the time of registration, subject to confirmation of the associated reservations/services.

La Boussole reserves the right to cancel any registration for which payment has not been made according to the explicit conditions above.

By registering, the traveler confirms that they are in appropriate health conditions for the trip they are registering for and accepts the risks arising from the inability to immediately access medical assistance.

The traveler confirms that they are aware of the type of physical, cultural, and psychological demands that the trip may entail, which may lead to unforeseen situations.

The traveler acknowledges that unforeseen circumstances may arise, related to sociocultural and climatic impacts.

Minimum and Maximum Age

The minimum age for registration is 18 years.

There is no maximum age. However, given that this trip may require some physical effort and the lack of immediate medical assistance in some difficult-to-access locations, La Boussole believes it is within its right and duty to advise against it, suggest an alternative, or even refuse to allow the traveler to register.

Persons with Mobility Disabilities

Given the nature of the services, the poor preparation of some countries regarding mobility issues, and the nature of access to the places visited, transportation, and hotels, travelers with mobility disabilities are requested to contact La Boussole directly by email before making any reservation.

Registration Modifications

The traveler may not transfer or modify their registration as it is personal. Registration for this getaway commits you as a natural person. The traveler may not be replaced by another person under any circumstances, as on the date of registration, flight reservations are made in the traveler's name, which cannot be modified or replaced.

Changes

Whenever there are third-party reasons that justify it, La Boussole may inform the traveler of changes initiated by service providers to the order of itineraries, flight departure times, the day of departure or return, or the replacement of one of the planned hotels with others of a similar category and location. La Boussole will inform the traveler as soon as it becomes aware of them.

Rate Changes

The rates indicated are based on the costs of services and the exchange rates in effect on the date of registration.

They may therefore be subject to changes resulting from variations in the cost of transport or fuel, duties, taxes, levies and fluctuations in exchange rates.

Any time there is a change in the price of the getaway stay, the guest will be immediately informed.

If the increase exceeds 8% of the stay price, the guest is asked to accept the necessary increase or cancel their booking.

Cancellations

The guest may cancel their getaway stay at any time before departure. However, in the event of cancellation and/or withdrawal, they will lose 60% of the amount already paid and remitted by the guest to La Boussole, provided they sign a non-refundable deposit.

If this cancellation occurs 40 days before departure, the full value of the stay will be forfeited. The guest will also lose the value of any additional services they requested.

The guest will not be entitled to any refund under the terms described above, even if the cancellation was due to an inability to travel due to force majeure, health, or accident. He will not be entitled to any refund if he wishes to abandon due to the absence of a certificate for a vaccine required by the destination country, even if he is not informed by La Boussole. Travel obligations are the responsibility of the traveler - vaccination, visa, up-to-date documents, entry conditions into the territory, etc.). After the start of the trip, no refund will be due to the Traveler for not having used the services or for not benefiting from programs, whether for reasons of force majeure or for other reasons attributable to the Traveler, even for negligence. Refunds

Once the getaway has begun, no refunds are due for services not used by the traveler. Any non-provision of services included in the getaway program for reasons beyond La Boussole's control must be discussed with the service provider via the support service; reimbursement is not guaranteed.

Required Documentation

The traveler is responsible for verifying which documents are required to enter the destination country, as well as their personal (and/or family) documentation, and must have them in good condition and valid (identity card, passport, visas, authorizations, vaccination certificate, and other documents that may be required). La Boussole declines all responsibility for the refusal to grant visa(s) and/or any ban on disembarking or entering a foreign country. Any additional costs that such a situation may entail are also the traveler's responsibility.

It is the traveler's responsibility to ensure their passport is valid for at least six months after the end of their trip.

Traveling outside the European Union

Travelers (regardless of age) must carry their identity document and passport, as well as a visa or any other document required by the country, if applicable.

Nationals of non-EU countries should consult the embassies/consulates of their countries of origin for specific information on the documentation required for travel.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory for travelers. Travelers agree to purchase personal insurance before departure.

Bon Voyage by Cathy is committed to providing customers with travel insurance, guaranteeing coverage for unforeseen events that may occur during their stay.

The insurance provided is subject to the general and specific conditions of the policy purchased, which will be presented to the customer at the time of booking. It is the sole responsibility of the traveler to review and accept the terms of the policy.

This insurance, provided by Bon Voyage By Cathy, does not replace the insurance that must be purchased by the traveler at their own initiative and responsibility.

The automatically included insurance is mandatory and is associated with the stay organized by Bon Voyage By Cathy. It cannot be separated from the getaway stay.

The general and specific insurance conditions are available for consultation and can be provided to the client upon prior request.

In the event of a claim during the trip or a sudden, external, and unforeseeable event that prevents the traveler from traveling, they must contact Fidelidade directly at the number indicated on the insurance policy.

Bon Voyage By Cathy acts as an intermediary for the purchase of the insurance and assumes no responsibility for claims, reimbursement approvals, or decisions made by the insurer.

By accepting the conditions and terms of this contract, you also agree to accept the specific and specific conditions associated with the travel provider Icligo - Bon Voyage by Cathy.

Use of Customer Information

The customer expressly consents to the disclosure of all information, including personal data, provided in connection with the getaway to government authorities for border control and air travel security or other purposes, as well as to La Boussole's local service providers for the purpose of delivering the getaway (including health-related data, among other things).

La Boussole occasionally produces photo/video content during trips that may be used as promotional material. La Boussole accepts the consent of the getaway participants, unless they disclose information they do not authorize.

Meeting Location and Transportation

It is the traveler's responsibility to be at the airport at least 3 hours before the scheduled flight departure time for the start of the getaway.

La Boussole is responsible for informing the traveler of the offers provided by service providers regarding the purchase of international flights and personal travel insurance, as well as accommodations according to the package chosen by the traveler. The activities and their organization will be described and communicated in full detail to the traveler before arrival in Bali.

Departure and arrival times will be in accordance with the schedules of the companies and service providers, as of the date the respective travel information is issued, and are indicated in the local time of the respective country; they are therefore subject to change. Delays due to technical or other issues related to transportation or carriers are not the responsibility of La Boussole. The traveler must always consult the schedule of each flight printed on their ticket and confirm their return with the airline 72 hours in advance.

Accommodation

La Boussole, as an intermediary for Bon Voyage By Cathy, offers several getaway packages on its website.

Regarding the accommodations planned for this getaway:

Rooms or Villas with various options.

- Double Rooms - 1 person - Can be a double bed or two single beds, depending on accommodation availability.

- Double Rooms - 2 people - Can be a double bed or a single bed, depending on accommodation availability.

The getaway package is offered individually and uniquely to a solo traveler.

However, La Boussole may request the travel provider to group together, in pairs, by gender and chronological order of registration, travelers who register individually for the same trip and wish to stay in a double room.

Accommodations are chosen based on the chosen getaway package. They may be modified by other similar ones for reasons beyond the control of La Boussole, which is obliged to inform the traveler as soon as it is informed by the travel provider and becomes aware of it.

Meals

Meals indicated as included, primarily breakfasts, will be served from the menu provided by the hotel.

Luggage

La Boussole is in no way responsible for the baggage and other belongings carried by the Traveler, regardless of the location or means of transportation used. The number of pieces of baggage will depend on the airline selected at the time of booking.

Language Spoken While Traveling

The escapes offered on the La Boussole website are primarily composed of French- and Portuguese-speaking travelers.

However, it should be noted that many tour guides, local guides, and yoga instructors in Bali only speak English. It is therefore important that Travelers understand these languages ​​or are aware of this.

Scope of Application

These general terms and conditions are supplemented by the specific conditions of participation for the getaway program in which the traveler is enrolled.

They may also be supplemented by any other specific conditions sent to the traveler at the time of registration (STANDARDIZED INFORMATION SHEET FOR ORGANIZED TRAVEL CONTRACTS and General Conditions of the Travel Organized by Icligo - MY FAVORITE EXPERIENCE, EVENTOS TURÍSTICOS, LDA (ICLIGO)).
